Musician, Thomas Fitzgerald, approached me about designing his music website. I was excited to do a music website for the first time. He’s very talented musician with a colorful history. Here’s a sneak peak of it in the works.

Actor’s Website for $200
I have found a way to provide an affordable website for people in the entertainment industry. All you need is to have your web hosting and domain purchased. I like to use hosting and domain from Ehostpros. They are around $50-$60 for the year.
After you have that, choose from hundreds of different wordpress themes. Some are free which might mean that someone else out there may have that theme. Some you can purchase and have to yourself. Here are some sites:
Once you have chosen a theme, purchased your web hosting and domain, and collected together all your material (photos/headshots, resume, bio, videos (preferably uploaded onto youtube or vimeo), and other material, I can set up it all up for you.
If interested, please contact me for more details.
Here’s an example of a free actor’s theme that I utilized for this person: www.jonathan-phan.com/blog
Photo collage for a friend.
A friend of mine asked me to put together a photo collage for her friend who was an actor. She dumped a large folder of images on me which seemed pretty random. A lot of them were headshots and other miscellaneous things. I had a few different approaches and so far this is my favorite.
Here’s another more abstract version. Overall dimensions are 15 x 36in.
Old Spice Commercials crack me up!
I love these so I’m collecting them all here for your viewing pleasure.
Business Card Design
I hate making logos! But not if I’m happy with it =) I did some play with lettering and came up with a nice simple logo for my website. I’ve simplified it even more for my business card. I wanted to go along with the same color scheme as the website for the “DAVIDCHAN” lettering, but wasn’t sure if the CMYK colors would match up enough to please me. So I went with a neon green color. I’m happy with it.
K-Town Cowboys. I’m a fan.
I saw this a while ago and now I’ve just finished watching the last episode. I have to say that I’m a fan. It was shot really well and it was a lot of fun. It was realistic in the sense that I really believed all the characters. I have to say that Peter is the most hilarious. He’s that cocky guy that loves to start stuff all the time! It’s just fun to hear what the hell he’s going to say next.
It kind of all center’s around one crazy night. John just moves from Richmond, VA (my dad’s town) and relocates to Los Angeles. His cousin, or whatever, introduces him to all his crazy Korean friends who take him out on an adventure in K-Town where they drink, hit up booking clubs, work their game on ladies, and other crazyness.
If you’re Korean, it’ll be even more entertaining to see their interactions! Since I want to support their stuff, I’m posting it here.
